Ceramic proppants are high-strength spherical balls and the key material used in the hydraulic fracturing of natural gas and oil wells of low saturation.During the oil drilling process,large volumes of ceramic proppants are mixed with a highly viscous fluid to form slurry.This slurry is pumped into the well at a pressure high enough to enlarge a fracture in the rock formation that contains the gas or oil.After the pressure is removed the proppants remain in the fracture to create a pathway.,through which the oil or gas can flow more readily,thus increasing production rates and service life.
