These plates take advantage of the high rigidity of alumina ceramic plates and carborundum ceramic plates which are compound with highly rigid PE fibre bulletproof plates through special techniques. These types of compound bulletproof plates are 30%-40% lighter than the traditional steel bulletproof plates on the same level of ballistic protection. Moreover, thest plates are much better in reducing ricochet shots than the traditional steel bulletproof plates.
