Ship launching in shipbuilding industry is a complex process link, inland water and coastal ships generally adopt modes of rail sliding and air bag rolling during plumbing, and the rail sliding mode needs slipway or dock, so it is generally used by large shipyards due to high investment cost, small applicable scope, and other factors. The marine air bag is widely used in small and medium dockyards due to low entire investment and wide applicable scope.

“Air bag launching” process uses high pressure charging rubber air bag to bear dead weight of ships, and makes new built ships successfully launch by rolling deformation of air bag, ship dead weight and gradient of land. The process discards the dependence on shipway or dock in traditional ship process, and uses assembly air bag to make ship with over 20,000T load capacity launch through translatory moving. The technology has been developed in China and rapidly promoted, welcomed by small and medium shipyards with capital shortage and incomplete hardware facilities, and used by large shipyards to launch ships. The application of air bag drives the rapid development of Chinese shipbuilding industry, especially in recent years, 90% of large private shipbuilding bases and new built shipyards obtain considerable economic benefit by using air bag to water or launch. With integral investment below 5% of dock, air bag is an industry project with broad prospect. At present, our air bags have been exported to America, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries, with a good reputation.

Our new high-strength nylon marine air bag, mainly made of N66 nylon cord fabric (cord fabric for auto tire) of Shenma Group (the best domestic manufacturer of cord fabric) and tread rubber for tire (including 59% of Malaysia No. 3 smoke sheet rubber), is featured by high cord fabric strength, tear force of 33.3kg/one, warp density of 100/10CM, high elasticity, elastic modulus of 2-4Mpa, good flexing resistance, no crack when flexing for 200,000 times, and good acid resistance, alkali resistance, wear resistance, oil resistance and ageing resistance. Therefore, our air bag has large bearing capacity, good air tightness, easy repair, long service life, safety and reliability, warmly welcomed by users after putting on the market. Its mouth is made of 304 stainless steel, so the air bag never rusts. The inflatable rubber fender is an internationally popular updating product of ship fender, and uses compressed air as buffer medium, ensuring softer collision prevention effect when ships lean alongside. Compared with general spring rubber fenders, (such as old tires and solid core rubber fenders), it has the advantages of large impact energy absorbing capacity, low pressure of unit area acting on ship, excellent impact fatigue resistance, simple installation, etc. It is widely used for mammoth tankers, liquefied gas carriers, ocean platforms, large docks and marine facilities.
