Seamed rubber dam is formed by hot-sticking mechanical modeling technique after single-width vulcanization under certain pressure and temperature. The producing technique is to glue canvases, vulcanize them into single-width gluing board, connect them and finally join them into bag dam.The disadvantages of this producing technique are as follows:
1, the thickness of joints of gluing boards is one time added to fail in conformity of the whole bag dam with bad watertight and flexing resistance;
2, the surface of bag dam is not in the same level. All layers of bag dam are stressed unevenly and convex faces occur;
3,Joints are vulcanized twice. The canvas would be damaged twice. Bag joints would be displaced in hot press and the bag strength cannot meet designing requirements;
4, problems that joints are not adhered evenly, sealing adhesive tape falls off and delamination between adhesive tapes occurs, will cause leakage and even bag tearing after filling the bag with water
It has such advantages as follows:1. the adhesive tapes of seamless rubber dam bag are overlapped in dislocation.
