Double-resistance geogrids for mining uses polypropylene as materials, through the process of anti-static and fire resistance treatment, and being stretched in double directions, to form square grids with whole structure. Its characteristics are as follows:

1. Not easy to produce static when friction, in the environment of mining, the average resistance value of girds surface usually under 1×109Ω.2. Good fire-resistant performance. Under the environment of 760°C, it is only melt, but not to fire. Even firing, it would extinguish as soon as leave flames. 3. Convenient to wash coal. The density of this grids is between 0.89-0.91, smaller than water density, the broken ones would float on the water surface during washing, and they are easy to be washed out. 4. Strong ability of anti-corrosion.5. Convenient for construction and transport. The grids are soft relatively, not easy to hurt wokers in construction, also have advantages of easy curling, bundling, cutting and light weight, so they are convenient for transport, carrying and construction under mining. 6. Strong bearing capacity in both longitudinal and transverse directions. After extruding and stretching process, the grids’ molecule structures arrange once again, and the materials’ tensile strength is 2-3 times of before. The ribs caused by stretching in double directions are perpendicular to each other.,and this kind of structure could effectively transfer the pressure put on the girds surface to the ribs around through nodes., which thereby greatly raise the grids’ whole bearing capacity, birs are not easy to break. Secondly, this grids is formed by stretching, not weaving, so the mesh creep rate is small, and the mesh size is average, which can effectively avoid cracked coals to drop to protect the works and tramcars’ safety.

Applications:These products are mainly used in mining as ceiling and shield. It must be in double layers or more when used as ceiling
