OVERVIEW

 

1, WPS Crystallization Waterproofing , the Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproofing Coating (CCCW), is cement based supplied in powder form and formulated from Portland cement, fine quartz sand and active chemicals.

2, The chemicals require the presence of water in the capillaries in order to penetrate and from sealing crystals. This crystal combines with the concrete together to block out water and other liquid.

3, When the surface and interior of the concrete come out micro cracks, the active substance can hydrated again and produce new hydrated crystal to block out water.

4, So Gomix WPS Cement Waterproofing Mortar can make concrete resistant to the water forever. Suitable for places dipping in water all the time, such as swimming pool, drinking water pool and so on.

AREAS OF USE

WPS Crystallization Waterproofing is suitable for

1) Repairing underground masonries subject to water and moisture seepage in situations with negative pressure up to 1 atmosphere.

2) Waterproofing basins, reservoirs, concrete or masonry tanks containing drinking water.

3) Waterproofing concrete or masonry tanks containing sewage water.

4) As further smoothing and waterproofing compound of underground walls before laying the bituminous membrane.

5) Interior and exterior cellar walls;

6) Damp areas;

7) Swimming pools;

8) Lift-rooms;

9) Underground passages;

10) Foundation walls;

11) Irrigation canals.

 

APPLICATION

lWPS Crystallization Waterproofing may be applied with masonry brush trowel or spray equipment

lDo not apply at temperatures below -5° C, or to a frozen substrate. A maximum of 4 kg/m2 can be laid on in one application.

lProvide suitable protection against extreme weather conditions while setting.

lIn case of subsequent screeds, renders or tile fixings, the WPS Crystallization Waterproofing coating is to be covered by a thin rough cast of sand and cement 3:1 while still ”green“.

   

STORAGE

WPS Crystallization Waterproofing may be stored for up to 12 months in its original packaging in a dry place.

 

CONSUMPTION

WPS Crystallization Waterproofing can apply approximate 1.5 kg/m2 per mm of thickness.

It is advised:

for slight moisture penetration: 2-3 kg/m2;

for reservoirs or structures where stagnant water is present: 4-4.5 kg/m2;

for water with a pressure of up to 1 atmosphere: 6-7 kg/m2
