Product Application:   

1.  More than 20 products of Silok® can use as slipping agent in UV paper varnish products, all give consideration to system compatibility and feeling, abrasion resistance, Silok®8546 of better balance between the two.

2.  Silok®8546 is the typical slipping agent for UV paper varnish, it can greatly improve the paint film with feeling and abrasion resistance, and it has better wettability and leveling, it cant stabilize foam.

3.  Silok®8546 is the most typical slipping, marproofing agent in UV plastic paint, UV printing ink system.

4.  Silok®8546 is the best feeling, marproofing, slipping silicone additive in PU varnish system, acrylic resin system.

5.   Silok®8546 also suitable for all solvent base coating system, such as PU wood paint, NC topcoat, polyester wood finish, plastic paint, baking paint, printing ink, etc.

Application Method:

Silok®8546  can be added in coatings, paints during or after the manufacturing process; typical addition of 0.05% -0.5%, needs to use a suitable solvent, such as alcohols or esters diluted to 20% solution before use, it can achieve the best distribution and miscibility of the system; however, the specific dosage to each system is different, so it requires to determine by experiments.
