Silicone Defoamer QYT4007
Characteristics:QYT4007 is an anhydrous, pasty antifoam concentrate. QYT4007 is used to prepare temperature and shear stable antifoam agents for the textile industry.Application:The product QYT4007 and its dilutions are especially suitable for the application under high shear stress and high temperature in a not too alkaline media.QYT4007 is suitable as a base material for JET stable antifoam emulsions.Emulsions prepared out of QYT4007 recommended for HT-Polyester dyeing and dyeing of polyester-cotton blends with Reactive and Dispersed Dyes.Emulsions having good dilution properties are preferably made with 5 % of solid content.Formulation:QYT4007 can be used for formulation of dilutions with extended shelf life.The emulsion shows a very good quality.Processing:The following dilution recipe is recommended for the preparation of emulsions of QYT4007 40 parts demineralised water and5 parts QYT4007 are carefully mixed. The mixture is stirred for 15 min at pproximately 500 r.p.m. until a viscous, homogeneous paste is achieved.55 parts demineralised water is then added slowly with short time stirring.The final emulsion is then stabilized with a compatible preservative (e.g. PRIOR P 840).Finally, the whole batch is filtered through a 0.4 mm sieve.Product data:QYT4007(5%)
