The spiral strip accumulator bridges the standstill time in the strip preparation section during the welding of the coil.

A continuous production process is ensured by the use of the spiral strip accumulator which bridges the standstill time in the strip preparation section during the welding of the coil ends. Switching to the different operating modes - Filling - Synchronisation - Emptying – is performed fully automatically. The length of the currently stored strip is displayed to the operator on the control desks of the strip preparation section and tube welding line.
