Description:

These pipettes operate by piston-driven air displacement. A vacuum is generated by the piston within an airtight sleeve.

1 As the piston moves upward, driven by the depression of the plunger, a vacuum is created in the space left vacant by the piston.

2 The liquid around the tip moves into this vacuum (along with the air in the tip) and can then be transported and released as necessary.

3 These pipettes are capable of being very precise and accurate.

Recalibration:

Pipette recalibration is an important consideration in laboratories using these devices.It is the act of examining or adjusting the quality of being near to the true value of a measuring device by comparison with a standard. Pipette calibration is essential to ensure that the instrument is working according to expectations and as per the defined regimes or work protocols.

There are numerous things to consider during pipette calibration, either if the laboratory performs the process themselves or if undertaken by a third party. It includes the following:1) Operator training applications.2) Accuracy and precision of liquid volumes.3) Other external factors.

Method of Use: 

1 Put the nozzle on the pipetting head, and rotates gently, so as to ensure the sealing is well.2 Before using, please suck in or discharge the liquid of the pipette for several times, in order

to ensure the chamber pressure inside and outside are the same.

3 Hold the pipette vertical, set the button to the first stopping point, and put the suction nozzle immersed into the liquid, under the liquid surface 2~3mm, then slowly release the button,waiting for 1~2 seconds, after that, take it out from the liquid, and do not let it touch anything.

4 Move the suction nozzle to the sample container wall, slowly push the button to the first stopping point, waiting for 1~2 seconds, then push the button, exhaust all the liquid, the suction nozzle should be slided out along the vessel wall, then slowly release the button, that is a complete operation process.

Attentions: 

1 The pipette is belong to precise measure, do not allow direct contact with the liquid, when not in use should be inserted on the suction nozzle, keep the tube clean.2 The use of other manufacturers' suction nozzle will affect the pipette's accuracy.3 Room working temperature: 20°C ( ±5°C )4 The pipette button marking should aim at the required capacity scale line.
