Fiberglass SMC BMC GRP FRP manhole cover includes the manhole base and cover with open holes. Both parts are made of SMC/BMC.
There is a self-locking compression lock around the base under the cover and , as well as a cassette on the base. It has the properties of light weight, self-locking, high strength, corrosion resistance and avoid to be theft etc. Iti s not only suitable for urban roads, living community but also applicable to acid, alkali, salty and water polluted environment.
Manhole cover is a new product developed in recent years and will replace the plastic, wooden, and cement cover. Because the composite material manhole cover has the following features:
1. well against theft: the product is made of polymer composites by heat mould pressing, and no second usage value, so its against theft.
2. convenience and good appearance, the weight is only one third that of the iron one with the same spec, so it is easy to install and maintain, and can design different colours according to customers requirement. It is convenient for management and beautiful the city.
3. long service life: acid and alkali resistance, no rust, electrical insulation, abrasion resistance and weather resistance. And the service life is over 30 years.
4. high precision, because this product is made by high temperature mould pressing, the gap between the base and the cover is small, it over comes the issue of running, jumping and sounding which happened on the cast-iron, cement ones. Composite material manhole cover is also widely applied in new factory construction and distribution room for cable cover.
