Descriptions: White to yellowish-white free flowing hygroscopic powder, or clear aqueous solution, with a faint characteristic odour, freely soluble in ethanol and in methanol, slightly soluble in acetone. It is able to form stiff, transparent and bright film, compatible with most inorganic salts and many resins, complexable with other compounds with hydrogen bond, Inert physiologically.
