Here I will introduce my way of how to quote. The final price of power cords consists of two parts: the price of power cords and the price of plug. Usually, the price of power cord fluctuates frequently, and the price of plug is relatively stable. For example, our price of one YF-010 plug is always for US$ 0.22,no matter how length of power cords you want. However, the price of power cords will be changed frequently, because it is based on the price of copper wire that changes frequently.
For example, my reference quote on the web is US$ 0.28-US$ 0.76 per piece. 1 piece is based on 1 meter power cord and 1 plug. US$ 0.28 is the final price of 1 meter H03VV-F 3G0.75 mm2 and 1 YF-010 plug, which is based on Chinese Yuan (use CY below) 60000 per ton copper wire. And US$ 0.76 is the final price of 1 meter H05VV-F 3G1.5 mm2 and 1 YF-010 plug, which is also based on CY60000 per ton copper wire. [H05VV-F 3G1.5 mm2 need more copper wire, and PVC, so the price will be higher than H03VV-F 3G0.75 mm2]
equation: [Final price of 1 meter power cord and 1 plug= price of 1 meter power cord + price of 1 plug]
If you want more than 1 meter power cords, that's no problem, just mutiply N (N is particular number for meters, like 1.5 meters, 2.5 meters, 3 meters ....)
So, Ultimate equation is :
[Final price of N meters power cord and 1 plug=price of 1 meter power cord * N +price of 1 plug]
eg, if a customer needs 2.5 meter H03VV-F 3G0.75 mm2 with 1 Plug, that's easy, the final price will be US$0.28*2.5 meters+ US$ 0.22=US$ 0.92
