1. Introduction

Sub-white fused alumina is produced on the basis of high-quality brown fused alumina. Because its chemical composition and physical properties are similar to white fused alumina. We then called this kind of material Sub-white fused alumina.

It solves the problems such us bursting, crazing and pulverising in the process of brown fused alumina. Brown fused alumina is the ideal product to substitute white fused alumina.

RS sub-white fused alumina is high quality bauxite as raw material, made by a special technique in electric arc furnaces with high temperature 2350°c. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, low porosity and thermal stability performance.
