Silicon nitride (Si3N4) bonded silicon carbide (SiC) Products Product Description Silicon nitride (Si3N4) bonded silicon carbide (SiC) material is produced by adding industrial silicon paste into artificial aggregate. Under high temperature, Si and N2 reacts with the formula of 2N2+3Si=Si3N4, Si3N4 bonded Sic material is formed by bonding SiC particles tightly. Therefore, Si3N4 bonded SiC material is an excellent refractory with the original properties of SiC. The material has quite high strength even under the temperature of 1700. C has properties of creep deformation resistance and anti-chemical erosion, and has excellent thermal conductivity and wear-resistance. Comparing with other several bonded SiC materials, Si3N4 bonded SiC material has attracted more and more attention.

NSIC material is a kind of latest structural ceramic material , which is mixed with high pure SIC fine powder and Silicon powder, after slip casting course, reaction sintered under 1400~1500. During the sintering course, filling the high pure Nitrogen into the furnace, then the silicon will react with Nitrogen and generate Si3N4, So in the Si3N4 material, SIC occupies 75% and Si3N4 occupies 23%. NSIC has the properties of high strength, strong oxidization-resistant ability. It is very suitable to be applied in the mid/low temperature and big loading furnace. The high working temperature can reach to 1450 .

The NSIC materials strength is nearly two times of RSIC material, besides it has all the properties of RSIC. It has the excellent crushing strength following the rising temperature, the excellent load-bearing ability under high temperature, oxidization resistance and corrosion resistance. It can be made into kiln furnitures, kiln fittings and structural parts, which can be applied in ceramic refractory, electric porcelain, electron ceramic, metallurgy, mechanics and environment protection line.
