Instructions for use:This bump Cap does not provide protection against the effects of falling of thrown objects, or moving suspended loads. Itshould not be used, instead of an industrial safety helmet as specified in EN 397.This bump cap is made to absorb the energy of a blow by partial destruction or damage to the shell and the harness, if fitted,and even though such damage may not be readily apparent, any bump cap subjected to severe impact should be replaced.For adequate protection this bump cap must fit or be adjusted to the size of the user's head.The attention of users is also drawn to the danger of modifying or removing any of the original component parts of the bumpcap, other than as recommended by the bump cap manufacturer. Bump caps should not be adapted for the purpose of fittingattachments in any way not recommended by the bump cap manufacturer. Do not apply paint, solvents, adhesives orself-adhesive labels, except in accordance with instructions from the bump cap manufacturer.To ensure effective protection, this shock-proof cap must be worn with its visor facing to the front and should be adjusted tothe user's head size using the fastener located at the rear of the cap (adjustable from 55/58 cm to 62 cm headcircumference). The bump cap's useful life is affected by many factors including the cold, heat, chemicals, sunlight undmisuse. The bump cap should be examined daily or obvious signs of cracking, brittleness or damage. The date ofmanufacture is marked on each bump cap. While the bump cap is free from defects it is suitable for ifs intended purpose.Under normal circumstances the bump cap should offer adequate protection for 2 to 3 years (after first use) or 5 yearsaccording to the manufacturing date.
Limits to use:Do not use out of its usage specifications defined in the instructions above. Not to be used for protection against furtherhazards than defined above. Do not apply paint, solvents, adhesives or self-adhesive labels, except in accordance withinstructions from the bump cap manufacturer DELTA PLUS. As required by European Health and Safety requirements, theuser is advised that when the bump is in contact with the user's skin, it may cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals.If this is the case the wearer should leave the hazard area, remove the bump cap and seek doctor's advice. None of thematerials used in the manufacture of this bump cap are known to adversely affect wearer hygiene or health.Instructions for storage:When not in use or during transportation the bump cap should be stored in a container such that it is out of direct sunlight andnot in contact with any chemicals, liquids or sharp objects and will not become deformed by objects dropping on to it. It is notnecessary to put the cap in a bag.
Instructions for cleaning / maintenance:The bump cap should be cleaned / disinfected by wiping with a cloth moistened with a weak mild detergent solution, the capshould then he allowed to air dry. No strong or abrasive chemicals should be used. If the bump cap can not be cleaned bythis method it should be replaced.
