I. Introduction

PCL series high-performance vertical shaft impact crusher is the third generation high performance sand maker, which introduced the latest research results of leading experts in Germany, the design of which had also been improved on the base of the mining conditions of china. Therefore, it possesses the world’s advanced technology and can only be manufactured by WEIBOS in China.

This machine is designed to provide high-quality sand and gravel aggregate for highways, high-speed rail, high-rise buildings, municipal project, hydroelectric dam construction and concrete mixing station. It is the first choice of equipment in the shaping fields of man-made sand and aggregate.

III. Working principles of vertical shaft impact crusher

New vertical shaft impact crusher adopts advanced selective and cleavage crushing principles, exerts enough kinetic energy on materials directly, and can change the kinetic energy into crushing energy through impact. Materials crack along the natural textures face and cleavage face, therefore, it features of good shape and low self-consumption. This equipment can achieve the transformation between “stone hits stone” working principle and “stone hits iron” working principle.

The materials fall into feeding hopper, enter into high-speed swing wheels through centered feeding hole and are accelerated rapidly inside the swing wheels. Its acceleration can reach tenfold of gravitational acceleration. Then ejected from swing wheel in high speed, the material firstly impact the other part of materials which are freely-falling after rebounding, then impact the stone under layers (stone hits stone) or impact plate (stone hits iron) together, and afterwards impact upward after rebounding to the top of eddy chamber, which will change its motion direction. The materials will move downwards, impact materials ejected from vane wheel runner and form a continuous materials screen. In this way, a piece of stone material is impacted, rubbed and grinded repeatedly inside the eddy chamber. Finally, crushed materials will be discharged from the bottom of the equipment.

Central feeding accompanies with circular feeding: the materials fall into feeding hopper, drop from circular hole, divided into two parts of materials by separating plate, one part of which enter into high-speeding swing wheel through separating plate, and the other part fall down from separating plate. The materials entered into swing wheel are accelerated rapidly inside the swing wheel. Its acceleration can reach tenfold of gravitational acceleration. Then ejected from swing wheel in high speed, the material firstly impact the other part of materials which are freely-falling after dropping from the separating plate, then impact the eddy under layers together inside the eddy chamber, and afterwards impact upward after rebounding to the top of eddy chamber, which will change its motion direction. The materials will move downwards, impact materials ejected from vane wheel runner and form a continuous materials screen. In this way, a piece of stone material is impacted, rubbed and grinded repeatedly inside the eddy chamber. Finally, crushed materials will be discharged from the bottom of the equipment.
