BD Bomb Locator is a highly sensitive robust magnetic locator for the detection of ferrous objects and is applied to locate air delivered unexploded ordnance of substantial size buried correspondingly deep in the ground. It operates as a differential fluxgate device measuring local changes in the magnetic field of the earth which can be caused by iron objects.
