Description    Microwave sensor switch can go through any material except metal.

Technique oarameter

Detection angle:160/360°Detection distance:1-10MAdjustable illuminance:3-2000LUX Adjustable time : 10-120 S Work voltage: AC220V 50HZ/110V 60HZMax load:600W Word temperature : –15°C~ +50°CWord humidity : <93% RH

Specification: 104*52*H30mm

The Principle

The microwave sensor switch is an active motion detector. The integrated HF sensor transmits high frequency electromagnetic waves and receives their echo, at the slightest movement in the detection zone of the fixture. The sensor detects the change in echo. In this case, a microprocessor triggers the switching command “light on”, Detection is possible through doors, glass panes or thin walls. NOTE: The high frequency output of the microwave sensor is 1 mW---only 1/100th of the transmitter power of a mobile telephone or microwave oven.

Feature

Ambient light level is adjustable: When turn the LUX knob clockwise maximally, the sensor lamp can work at any light level; When turn the LUX knob anticlockwise maximally, the sensor lamp can work ONLY under 3 LUX light level. Time delay is adjustable: When turn the TIME knob clockwise maximally, the time delay is approx 90~120 seconds. When turn the TIME knob anticlockwise maximally, the time delay is approx 8~12 seconds. Detection distance is adjustable: When turn the DISTANCE knob clockwise maximally, the detection distance is approx 10 meters, When turn the DISTANCE knob anticlockwise maximally, the detection distance is approx 1~2 meters.

Important

1. Disconnect the power supply before any work on the microwave sensor switch fixture. 2. Install the microwave sensor switch by a qualified electrician or experienced man. 3. Install the microwave sensor switch at position with vibration free mounting. 4. The most reliable way of detecting motion is obtained when you move in the direction of the installed sensor switch and no metal obstacles obstruct the line of sensor vision.5. Suitable for indoor use ONLY.

Installation and Testing

1. Install the microwave sensor switch and the lamp base at a suitable position as the figure shown.2. Connect the mains supply leads according to the terminal block instruction [L=live lead (usually black or brown) , N=neutral lead (usually white or blue), PE or E=protective earth lead (usually green or green/yellow ) ].3. Install the bulb which should not be exceeded the above specification prescribed.4. Turn the light level “LUX” knob clockwise maximally and turn the time delay “TIME” knob anticlockwise maximally and turn the “DISTANCE” knob to the middle position.5. Switch on the power, the sensor lamp will switch on then switch off automatically; When the sensor is on stable working condition, the sensor lamp will switch on automatically when the sensor detect the motion , and the sensor lamp will switch off automatically before setting time delay approx 10 seconds elapse when there is no movement be detected. It is recommended to select the shortest time and max. LUX for the performance testing.6. If turn the light level “LUX” knob anticlockwise maximally and testing the sensor lamp during the daytime, the sensor lamp will not switch on, if put a opaque object such as your palm or cloth to shade the sensor cover, the sensor lamp will switch on automatically, when there is no movement be detected by sensor before the setting time delay elapse, the sensor lamp will switch off automatically. 7. Check the sensor lamp’s performance and make sure it in stable working condition; Switch off the power again.
