Fused Silica Sand is produced by fusing and transforming crystalline silica by high temperature into amorphous silica. As result of fusing and amorphous structure, fused silica, as compared to crystalline silica,is purer,and has lower specific gravity and linear coefficient of thermal expansion. as such , it is widely used in electronic industry and high-temperature refractories.
