SD-SP Models
Solar Design SD-SP (‘split pressurised’) models exist in five different sizes; 100L, 150L, 200L, 250L, 300L. They consist of three components:
Evacuated tube collectorPressurized tankControl boxEvacuated tube collectors have more efficient heat transfer than flat plat collectors. With less heat loss through the vacuum air layer in the evacuated tubes, these systems are more efficient at lower ambient (outdoor) air temperatures.
Active Closed Loops System
l Closed Loop Systems are suitable for single and multiple solar heating applications.
l Applications can include: domestic solar water heating, swimming pool heating, and space heating.
l Closed Loop Solar Systems are suitable for areas with questionable water quality and are the preferred choice for extreme climates.
