Heat Treatment OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR; Preheat to 1500 F and then heat rapidly to 2150 F. Hold at 2150 F for 2 to 5 minutes and then air cool (quench) or oil quench.
5. Forging OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: Forge at 2100 f down to 1700 F. Do not forge below 1650 F.
6. Hot Working OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: See "Forging".
7. Cold Working OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: H21 may be cold worked by conventional methods.
8. Annealing OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: Anneal at 1625 F and slow furnace cool at less than 40 F per hour.
9. Aging OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR : Not applicable to this alloy.
10. Tempering OF mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: Tempering is done at 1100 F to 1250 F for Rockwell C hardness of 54 to 36. A double temper treatment should be done at the temperature selected and the parts should be held at temperature for 1 hour.

12. Payment FOR mould steel H21 STEEL BAR: We accept 30 percent advance by T/T, the balance 70 percent by T/T or L/C
