The production of 321 modular highway steel bridge utilizes 16Mn 8# H-section steel and 10# channel steel, based on technical drawing CT/QS0012-65 and documents issued by the planning and designing institute of ministry of communications.

Modular highway steel bridge as a multi-functional transportation facility, can keep the road clear and smooth in spite of damage in sever situations for example during a war, earthquake or flood. It can also be used widely as temporary or permanent bridge or such devices as footbridge, buoyant bridge, girder bridge, draw bridge, bridge tower, tower, cantilever bridge erection machine and other large construction supporting frames, etc. Lightness, demount ability and adoptability feature mostly in this type of steel bridge and it can be manhandled or erected promptly using simple tools. It is applicable in the following six types of load:

Auto-grade 10, auto-grade 15, auto-grade 20, pedrail-50, trailer-grade 80 and trailer-grade 100.

Approved by the ministry of communications, we took over the full set of specialized equipment and tools from the former Shanghai Gangji Factory and hence the appointed manufacturer of steel bridge with professional production and inspection devices.

To meet the requirement of the development of highway construction of our country, the headquarter developed 200 type steel bridge in 2001 on the basis of 321 type steel bridge. This new product had been verified by the No.2 Engineering Science and Research Institute of the Central Equipment Department. And we won the bid of national defense order by the Untied Nations Security Council and exported the product in bulk.
