The 8*55SWS+FC/IWR round strand wire rope is the steel wire harness twisted by 8 strands of steel wires (55 steel wires revolving around a fiber core or metal core in each strand).

The steel wire rope in which the adjacent layers of steel wires contact each other in the linear state in the strand is also called the parallel laid wire rope. The rope strand is twisted by several specifications of steel wires; the length of lay of each layer of steel wire is the same but their lay angles are different.
