Feature -Material: Case-hardened steel-Tap is clamped by ER spring collets, minimizing the need to stockvarious collet sizes.-Tap is clamped on a floating tap holder; the tapping torque istransmitted through a square shank on the floating tap holder.-0.1mm radius tolerance between floating tap holder and shank forcompensation of the offset of tap and pre-drilled hole to increase taptool life.-Compression and extention movement of the floating tap holder isdesigned for compensating unsynchronization of the spindle speed andfeed while tapping.-Two set screws are added to prevent slipping of the taps while the tapping functions in taking place.
