Detuned reactor for low voltage power capacitors are used in low voltage reactive power compensation equipment to filter the harmonics through capacitors and to limit the inrush current in order to assure that the equipment can work properly and safely under the heavy harmonic envoriment.

In the circuits of the compensation, the harmonic, the inrushing current and some other factor may cause possible damage to the capacitors. Therefore, it is very necessary to use the reactor together along with the capacitors.
