How it works

Check the weekly diagram (see below) to find the best location for you to move the tranducer over,Move the transducer slowly over the lower part of the abdomenIt may take time to hear the heartbeat depending on your pregnancy cycle and the position of the fetusYou may be necessary to angle the transducer slightly to colleact the optimum signalAngelsounds should be used slowly and after each movement you should stop for a few seconds for a clear sound.By using a ultrasound gel (Aquasonic) will pick up the signal easily

The best period of time to hear fetal heart rate movement are:

(1)       Within 30 minutes after the pregnant woman gets up in the morning.

(2)       Within 1 hour after the pregnant woman has lunch

(3)       30 minutes before pregnant woman gose to bed at night

(4)       A full bladder can help improve the sounds heard especially in early stages of pregnancy;
