The valve is usually installed in the pipeline of water system from highrise buildings and fire fighting etc. When water pressure in the pipeline exceeds the setting one, the pressure relief valve will automatically discharge pressure to protect the pipeline. It can act as pressure holding valve to guarantee the water supply pressure from upstream of main valve. The valve can sustain the constant safety pressure. Once the pressure is higher than setting one, it will release pressure in time. The operation is stable and reliable, so that removes the pressure wave.
