How to choose a suitable sander?
Clients should choose a suitable wide belt sander according to the board material and the requirements for surface processing.
1. If the required sanding volume is large or the sander is primarily used for thickness calibration, it is better to choose a belt sander designed with steel roller or rigid plastic roller for the R or RP, and coarse sand paper.
2. If the required sanding volume is small and the machine is primarily used for polishing applications, it is better to choose a wide belt sander designed with flexible plastic roller for the R or RP, and fine sand paper.
3. If the board surface has a high flatness, it is better to choose a belt sander coming with hard polishing pad for the RP or P.
4. If the board surface is uneven, it is better to a sander coming with air cushion type polishing pad for the RP or P.
Note
R refers to sanding frame coming with only contact roller, without polishing pad.
RP refers to sanding frame coming with both contact roller and polishing pad.
P refers to sanding frame coming with only polishing pad, without contact roller.
The do’s and don’ts
1. Before using the machine, please read and do according to the specification and operation manual.
2. Do regular check and maintenance.
3. Don’t modify the belt sander without authority.
4. Operate in dustproof clothing.
5. Don’s operate it outdoor. Keep it away from rainy, snow, high temperature, and severe vibration environments.
