Resin color developer RD9870
Brief introduction of RD9870:
RD9870 is a resin color developer of modified zinc salicylate with some characteristics of phenolic resins. The advantages of RD9870 lie in the rapid color developing and the good resistance to aging. Compared with other similar products, RD 9870 has many advantages such as simple application, convenient formula, and good adaptability, so it is widely adopted in the industry of carbonless paper at home and abroad.

The application method recommended:
The preparation process of the CF paste: Fill water into the tank, and then add dispersant and solid materials while stirring. Stir at the high speed. After homogeneous distribution of the mixture, decrease the stirring speed. Add the prepared starch adhesive, and stir for 15-20 min. and then adjust pH value to the range of 8.0-8.5. Finally slowly add color developer. Stir for the certain time till the color developer is homogeneously distributed. Slowly add SBR latex, and stir for 15-20min. The pH value of the final CF paste shall be about 7.0-7.5.
Packaging, storage and transportation
The packaging of RD 9870 is plastic barrel (220 kg/barrel). Besides, the packing method can be adopted according to buyer’s request. The products packing should avoid colliding with the edge tool to prevent leakage.The product can be transported by truck, train, or vessel, or the suitable transportation can be consulted with customer.The temperature requirement of storage is 0°C-50 °C. The shelf life is six months4. RD9870 is non-toxic and no corrosive. If it contacts with the skin by carelessness, rinse with detergent and water thoroughly.
