Asphalt emulsion plant is used to heat and melt the asphalt to spread the tiny micro droplet status into the water solution with emulsifier with the effect of mechanical shearing, forming asphalt emulsion with oil in water; the produce characteristic: smash the asphalt into tiny particle with the mechanical force and spread into the water evenly, forming stable emulsion. It can be used with cold and moist aggregate. When emulsified asphalt breaks, it will restore asphalt and the water will be fully excluded and the final strength of the road material can be formed. The newly GLR10 emulsion plant totally complies with the requirement of “energy saving and emission reduction, protection of the environment”. The key parts adopt high quality imported elements, with high degree of automation, advanced control mode operation. The plate heat exchanger is used to reduce the production and heat recycling. The host of equipment adopts the form of the container to facilitate the long-distance transportation of the equipment. Equipment components measurement is accurate, fine grinding, uniform, long life, which can provide reliable hardware for the production of high-quality emulsified asphalt.
GLR10 (modified) Asphalt emulsion plant is mainly consisted of two parts: the main body
and the IBC tanks (IBC- Intermediate Bulk Container). The main body of the plant is mainly composed of: one hot water tank, one mixing tank and two soap tanks. The four tanks are all made by stainless steel and with rock wool covered for heat preservation. A set of spare heating coils are equipped both in hot water tank and mixing tank. The mixing tank is equipped with a agitator for addition. The plate heat exchanger is made by stainless steel. The pipelines and valves are all anti-corrosive ones. The automatic valves are an pneumatic controlling ones supported by air compressor. The main body of the plant is a kind of 40 feet container structure; the IBC tank is put on a whole pallet. The main body and the IBC tank is connected with pipelines.
The productivity is of 10-15t/h. The colloid mill, SUPRATON made by German BWS, is introduced with its model of S300-4W.3-2.5, speed at 5400r/min and power at 55KW. Mill stator and rotor and shell are made of very hard and wear resistant stainless steel, with 5 years free maintenance, shear fineness ≤ 3 microns; can produce high concentrations of emulsified asphalt and a variety of polymer modified emulsified asphalt, including the concentration up 5% for SBS modified emulsified asphalt; colloid mill outlet pressure up to 1.6MPa, finished emulsified asphalt can be directly transported to the product tank to save the finished product transfer pump.
GLR10 (modified) asphalt emulsion plant adopts the form of temperature control for water and water ratio. Fix asphalt flow to be the control basis. The finished emulsified asphalt temperature is feedback through colloid mill to control the soap flow to achieve the synchronous changes of the soap flow and asphalt flow, always maintain a constant oil-water ratio. In addition there is latex flow measurement to control of volume latex pump latex amount through the flow of the latex.
