1. Equipment Application

The machine is used to assemble aluminum radiators by crimping together the header of the radiator core, the gasket, and the plastic tank.

It is divided into the long side crimping machine and short side crimping machine, which crimps respectively the long side and short side of the header plate. The long header plate is first crimped, and then comes the short header plate.

The long side crimping machine has a pneumatic precompaction device to crimp the plastic tank before assembling it with the radiator core.

The header supporting mold of the long side crimping machine can be replaced when the header plate width changes.

The aluminum alloy air cylinder makes the whole machine more light.

The shot side crimping machine can crimp two short header plates at the sametime.

2. Equipment Configuration

The equipment employes imported touch screen and PLC system to display the working performance (step distance and speed). The control system stores 250 sets of data.

The equipment employes imported Taiwan servo motor and servo drive to move and control the crimping mechansim through the ball screw.
