Function of the Preparation lines

The Purpose of preparation is to remove the oxide coating on the surface and coat the surface with borax to lower the possibility of producing broken filament and wire fracture .This will also extend the life of the drawing die and improve the speed of the drawing to finish the work smoothly.

The treatment is similar to phosphorization and liming treatment for the wire rod surface .It is used to separate the wire rod and die to enable smooth drawing.
