Rockfall protection wire netting system

hexagonal Rockfall wire netting,also named heavy hexagonal wire netting for slope protection,is used to prevent rocks and debris from falling.The mesh is flexible,durable and easily conforms to the rock face profile.

The steel wire used in the manufacture of Rockfall protection wire netting is heavily zinc coated or PVC coated according to ASTM A975, PVC coating is extruded over the galvanized wire to provide extra protection for use in complicated environments such as acidic soils or water,in salt water or wherever the risk of corrosion.The PVC coating has a nominal thickness of 0.55mm.

Rockfall protection wire netting is made of hexagonal woven wire mesh type 80 commonly referred to as double twist mesh as ASTM A975. It is supplied in standard length and width.

The tolerance on the opening of mesh “b “being the distance between the axis of two consecutive twists according to ASTM A975.

Date of Diameter is measured before PVC coating.
