 3. Structural Characteristics

    This instrument is a double acting reciprocating test equipment, which consists of motor, turbo reducer, eccentric mechanism, working device and the base, etc.

The motor is horizontal single capacitor starting motor.

    Turbo reducer: A two-way output shaft reducer, transmission ratio is 25:1. At both ends of the turbine shaft reducer installed a pair of eccentric mechanism.

    Working device: installed on the base at both sides of the reducer and driven by the motor and eccentric mechanism. Work continuously with 60 times per minute.

 4. Applicable Standard

    BF-38B is according to the standards of GB/T 269 and ASTM D217. It's for "worked penetration" and "prolonged worked penetration" tests to determine consistency of lubricating greases.
