2.Performance characteristics

 

 

BF-03B Low Temperature Kinematic Viscosity Tester uses the digital temperature controller 

to control the temperature, with the range of -65~20°C and the accuracy of ±0.1°C. 

The digital temperature controller can display the setting temperature and the actual temperature intuitively, so that it's easy to set and correct the temperatures.

 

The instrument has two viscometer holders, so that one sample is made into temperature constant state while another sample is tested, to improve work efficiency. The viscometer holder is designed reasonably. There are three screws on the holder by which we can adjust the capillary viscometer to the vertical position.

 

The bath of the instrument is glassy transparent, which is convenient for operator to observe the sample from all directions.

 

3.Applicable standards

 

The instrument is designed and manufactured as per the standards of ASTM D445 and GB/T 265(National Standard of People’s Republic of China). 

It can be used to determine the kinematic viscosity of the liquid petroleum products( Newtonian flow) at low temperature. The unit of the determined kinematic viscosity is mm²/s.
